WHAT DO YOU CALL YOURS?

Vagina madness has hit St Luke's (and there's a sentence I never thought I'd write).

Our new Mooncup campaign launched on Monday and has steadily been gaining attention. We have received well over 1,000 entries on our poll page where people can enter the name they call their talulah / treasure / fangita with some extremely imaginative entries.

Jimmy Carr was even taken aback by one of our posters and promptly tweeted a reaction.

Time to get down to the nitty gritty - what do you call yours?

GREAT BRITISH ROAST DEBATE

Phew - a busy week here at St Luke's! We’re delighted to announce the launch of Toby Carvery’s TV, press, radio and online campaign which aims to demonstrate Britain’s passion for roast dinners. The TV ad shows people debating what makes their perfect roast, for the radio hear the lovely James Corden delivering a rousing speech on the subject of the roast dinner. Join the debate on Toby Carvery's Facebook page.

LOVE YOUR VAGINA

Do you know your pumpum from your minky? We are very excited to see the launch of our unbranded campaign for Mooncup, which aims to encourage women to ‘love their vaginas’. The Mooncup is a safe, eco-friendly alternative to tampons and sanitary pads.

We have designed typographic posters with names that women use for their vaginas ranging from ‘Lady garden’ to ‘Va jay jay’. The posters direct women to the website loveyourvagina.com, where they can find out more about Mooncup. For a bit of fun, women can enter what they lovingly call their lady parts and help us find the UK’s top five names - definitely not for the faint-hearted...

Twin City Envy!

I’ve been thinking quite a lot about where to go on holiday. I hit on the bright idea of perhaps visiting whichever city is twinned with London. After a little bit of research I discover that actual boroughs are twinned with foreign places so I quickly scrolled down the page on the link below to find out who is twinned with Hammersmith & Fulham (my stomping ground). Not to be rude but I was a tad disappointed to discover that good old H&F are twinned with Anderlecht in Belgium, Boulogne in France as I was hoping for more far flung or glam places.

Undeterred I checked out my neighbouring borough Kensington & Chelsea and discovered they are twinned with Cannes! I then search some more and discover that Hackney is twinned amongst others with Alexandra in South Africa & Bridgetown in Barbados.

I then broadened my search and discovered that Liverpool is twinned with Rio de Janeiro

I am now looking at estate agencies! Blatantly in order for this to work I will have to move!
