Doing Christmas 2013 in a Very stylish way!

Besides celebrating the birth of Jesus, singing Carols about wise men and eating far too much; Christmas is a time for spoiling each other (and ourselves) with gifts, new outfits and celebrations.

Our 30" Gifting advert for Very celebrates important Christmas preparation tasks such as gift-wrapping, cooking up a storm, hanging decorations and dining with friends, in a beautifully stylish and effortless way. With Very's range of gifts, fashion, homeware and electricals, it's easy to look effortlessly stylish whilst simultaneously delivering the perfect Christmas.  


The ad launches today, 7th November, during Emmerdale (ITV 7pm) and features a remix of the traditional Christmas Carol Silent Night. But this is Silent Night as you've never heard it before! Now well-known for having stand-out soundtracks, this Very spot follows on from our Christmas Partywear ad and the Definitions campaign using original remixes, a motion-control camera, and freeze-frame vignettes.

Whatever you do, do it in style with Definitions

Our much anticipated 'Everyday Stylish' campaign for Very.co.uk went live on 5th September, with its debut 30s spot during Emmerdale and the 40s during X Factor last Saturday night!

The ad follows a series of beautifully stylish women carrying out a series of banal activities but looking amazing in the new Definitions range from the brand. The idea behind the campaign is to show that no matter what you are doing: in the office, doing your weekly shop or making your breakfast, then Very can help you find the right outfit to make you feel fabulous.

 
Using motion control technology, along with trying to capture the stillness and beauty of a typical fashion photo shoot, results in a sumptuous film with a fluid and dream like quality.  By limiting movement to only a few small elements within the ad, then we are able to really focus the attention on the details of the product. The ethereal soundtrack is Fineshrine by Purity Ring, and it adds a whole new level of cool to the Very portfolio.

Very Spring/Summer 2013 campaign launches today!


Good news! The evenings are getting lighter, there is no frost on the ground and our Very Spring/Summer campaign featuring Holly Willoughby and the HQ girls launches today! It’s time to get excited about the hottest new trends from Very.co.uk.



The TV ads, which go on air for the first time during Emmerdale tonight (ITV 6.55pm), see Holly and the girls back in our futuristic Very HQ - but with a twist to the usual format. There will be new 10 second spots being shown every single week for the next three months, featuring the hottest new trends to make sure whatever you do, you do it in style this season. The first week is Nautical theme, and the rest – well, you’ll have to wait and see – but feel free to let us know which ones are your favourites!




In fitting with the launch we’re re-designing our Reception display here at the agency, and we’re even going to (attempt to) theme our weekly Friday afternoon nibbles according to the trend of the week – I’ve got a feeling some will be easier than others... Photos to follow!
