Orange Rockcorps
Saw an ad on the tube this morning for Orange Rockcorps. To get tickets to a concert you have to give 4 hours of your time to the community. Pretty cool, I thought.

It's a great idea, given that most people want to give time rather than money. I like that you have to earn the experience - it somehow makes it much more meaningful. I imagine it would also make the event a lot more intimate because you know everyone has worked to get there. Time is a great leveller.
oranges new "i am jont" concept is in a similar music related/brand experience vein and is particularly cool too. check out http://www.i-am-everyone.co.uk/i-am-jont.php - the futures bright, the futures mobile house parties..apparently
whatever you think of Orange's new endline, they have a brilliant grip on what it takes to make a campaign successful. From their attitude to display advertising, to their use of search, their complete grip on branded content and how to make CSR into content, their grip on the multi-channel campaign is pretty faultless... Brands, take note.
